Wildflowers Beneath Cloudy Skies

$0.00

Original 8x10" oil painting by David Stratman, framed in a maple wood floater frame and ready to hang.

I painted this piece in early spring when these yellow flowers were popping up all along Michigan's fields and roadsides. I believe they were wild mustard, but I could be wrong. The skies were cloudy on this particular day which led to dark saturated colors and soft diffuse lighting on the landscape.
